Severe Weather Potential For The End Of The Week

We have two chances for severe thunderstorms as we come towards the end of the week I will break down each separately below.

Thursday May 03, 2018

Currently the Storm Predicition Center has all of Southern Indiana under a Marginal risk for severe storms for Thursday. Main Risks will be damaging winds, heavy rainfall and lightening. At this point no widespread severe weather is expected.

Here is the risk map for Thursday.

Friday May 04, 2018

The Severe Storm risk for Friday is currently a Marginal Risk for Severe Thunderstorms with Main Risks of Damagining Winds, Heavy Rain Fall, and Lightening. Once again no widespread severe weather is expected

Here is the risk map for Friday.

At this point both of these days remain (DAY OF INTEREST) which means that I am watching them closely for severe weather potential. Unless the SPC upgrades to a Slight risk or higher then a (WEATHER ALERT DAY) will be declared but for now I am going with day of interest. Stay tuned for updates!
