NOTE: This is the little forecast “blurb” that I use to put on the home page here on the JCTV Weather Center website this forecast “blurb” will now be posted here on the blog instead from here on out! Thanks – K.D.
We have a low chance for a mixture of flurries and freezing drizzle is possible tonight. That in mind with temperatures falling just below freezing tonight that means that if we do get any freezing drizzle it could create a few slick spots mainly on elevated surfaces and overpasses. So if you do plan to be out tonight or early Tuesday morning plan to use caution but overall impacts will not be a big issue rather minor if any. If we do see any issues my sense is when the temperatures warm above freezing by midday Tuesday that everything should melt off. Overall the rest of the day on Tuesday looks chilly highs only in the upper 30s. More snow flurries and or light snow showers possible by Tuesday evening with little to no accumulation expected.
Tonight: Winds NNW – 6mph. Cloudy with snow flurries and freezing drizzle – 20% Chance. Lows in the lower 30s
Tuesday: Winds WNW – 7mph. Cloudy with light snow possible in the afternoon and evening – 30% Chance. Highs in the upper 30s.
Tuesday Night: Winds W – 5mph. Cloudy with light snow showers possible – 30% Chance. Overnight lows in the low 30s.
